About us

About us, and how to reach us

Warm Home Loans is an independent renewable energy installer based in South Wales. We have been installing for over 15 years. We design and fit solar PV, battery storage and EV charging, and we specialise in getting projects documented properly for Warm Homes Loan Scheme finance — so you have one point of contact for the funding paperwork and the installation alike.

What we do

  • Solar PV — new arrays and additions to existing systems
  • Battery storage — paired with solar, or battery-only retrofits
  • EV charging — OZEV-approved chargepoints, integrated properly
  • Lender-ready documentation — itemised quotes with MCS number and kW system size, and MCS lodgement after installation

Installations eligible for the scheme must use an MCS-certified product fitted by an MCS-certified installer certified for that measure. That is the standard we work to.

How we work

We quote to the rules

The scheme tells lenders exactly what a quote must contain. Ours are dated, addressed to you, on headed paper, itemised, with our MCS number, the installation address and the system size in kW. No back-and-forth.

We tell you when the answer is no

An EV charger alone is not fundable. Insulation is not fundable. Some roofs are not worth glazing with panels. You will hear that from us before you have spent anything.

We stay in our lane

We install. We do not lend, broker credit or give financial advice. Choosing a lender and a term is your decision, with the lender, and we will never pretend to a say in it.

Complaints

If something goes wrong with an installation we have carried out, tell us first — email [email protected] and we will respond. Under the scheme's model, installation quality and workmanship are the installer's responsibility, with MCS providing the standards framework and escalation route if we cannot resolve it between us.

Complaints about a loan — the product, the affordability or credit decision, or how it is being serviced — go to your lender, with escalation to the Financial Ombudsman Service where applicable. The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) handles only complaints about the scheme rules themselves and will not intervene in individual lending decisions or installation disputes.

Free, no-obligation

Send us an enquiry

Tell us where you are, what you are considering and roughly what you spend on electricity. We will come back with a plan, a price and a straight answer on the loan.

  • MCS-certified installation — a requirement of the Warm Homes Loan Scheme
  • Itemised quote with system size in kW, in the format lenders ask for
  • Solar, solar + battery, battery-only retrofit or an EV charger added to either
  • No hard credit check from us, and no cost for a quote
